What is a FIX window?
A FIX window, also known as a fixed window or fixed window, is a type of window that does not open and does not have an opening mechanism. The FIX window is fixed in the frame and functions primarily as a source of natural light and an aesthetic element of architecture.
FIX windows are often used in situations where opening the window is not required or when there is a need to provide more sunlight to the room, but no ventilation is necessary. Examples of applications of FIX windows are large shop windows, glazed walls in office buildings, decorative windows in residential buildings or use to emphasize the architectural elements of the building.
FIX windows can be made of various materials, such as PVC, wood, aluminum or composites. They are usually sealed and insulated for thermal and acoustic efficiency, even if they cannot be opened.
It is worth remembering that due to their immobility, FIX windows are not intended for ventilation of rooms and do not provide air flow. If there is a need for ventilation in a given room, it is necessary to install additional windows that can be opened and closed.
